Pleasure Islands Seafood, Blues and Jazz festival at Fort Fisher

October 9th and 10th, 2010 is the weekend of the biggest Seafood, Blues and Jazz festival.
This two-day festival takes place at the Fort Fisher Military Recreational Area in Kure beach. Browse the Fine Arts Plaza, shop for crafts, listen to music, and taste some fine wines.
Bring your lawn chairs, leave your hectic world behind and “chill” for a few days.

Riverfest 2010 promises to be one of the best things to do in Wilmington, NC. From Oct. 1st thru 3rd, 2010 the streets of downtown Wilmington will be jumping with family fun and entertainment. The schedule of bands is impressive, while there you’ll be able to pick up gifts to take home and eat some yummy food from the vendors. On Saturday evening the fireworks will begin at 9:05pm, I’m sure it will be a sight to see.
